Health insurance cover - the types of cover

We believe that health insurance should be available to as many people as possible. So we’ve developed 4 four plans, each one providing varying levels of cover and the flexibility to meet your needs and budget.

All plans include access to a wide range of hospitals, full Cancer cover and a range of additional benefits including a cash benefit following the birth of a baby and for using the NHS. We also offer access to our unique Vitality programme, which means you could save on your premiums at renewal just by looking after yourself.

Core plan

Covers all eligible hospital fees, including specialist fees.
Limited outpatient care related to inpatient hospital stays.
Includes Vitality so you could save on your premiums at renewal.

Some limits may apply to outpatient care, but not necessarily related to inpatient hospital stays.

Select Plan

Offers all the cover of the Essential plan, plus greater levels of outpatient care.
Some limits may apply to outpatient care, but not necessarily related to inpatient hospital stays.
A compulsory £250 excess each year to keep your premiums down.
Includes Vitality so you could save on your premiums at renewal.
Limited gym discounts. If you choose any gym membership it will be charged at Bronze rate regardless of Vitality status.
